A Subwoofer is designed specifically to reproduce low frequencies. Conventional, full-range speakers try to cover as much of the frequency range as possible, up to about 20kHz Subwoofers are intended to reproduce bass frequencies around 80-150Hz. In this way a subwoofer complements the mid to top cabinet by doing the heavy lifting involved in extending the bass response down to the lowest frequencies.
8" Subwoofer suitable for home entertainment systems, 10" ideal for café and restaurants, 12" great for small pubs, 15" larger pubs and sports bars and 18" subs great for bands, disco and nightclubs.
We stock cabinets from Citronic and DAP which are passive and active cabinets.
